Cargo Pods
Around the hangar, what are two things pilots always complain about? More Room for baggage and More Fuel! Hitchcock Aviation has the answer for Cub drivers and soon for Husky drivers as well. We now have the Airglas Cargo only, Fuel only, or if you need both, a combination Cargo/Fuel Pod.
The pods are sealed units constructed of fiberglass and are easy to install on your Cubs and Huskies (STC pending on the Husky.) The sealed pod means the oil, fuel, and exhaust from your engine does not end up on all of your belongings whether it be food, clothing, game, or anything else you don’t want to smell or taste like the engine. The other great thing about a pod is that the weight is right under you, not back in the tail creating aft CG problems. Take a look at the pods below and contact us with any questions you may have.
