1966 DeHavilland DHC-2 MKIII Turbine Beaver

Manufacturer: DeHavilland

1966 de Havilland DHC-2 MK III. This aircraft was one of 60 Factory built Turbine Beavers by the De Havilland Aircraft Company of Canada. The Beaver was the first single-engine utility aircraft to be turbine-powered. Manufactured in 1966, this Turbine Beaver was built directly by the factory (no conversions) which means it has a 28” fuselage plug and an angular and taller swept vertical fin. With a PT6A-34 engine generating 680hp this Beaver can operate from unimproved runways as short as 1000 ft. while carrying up to 2450 lbs. of cargo. This Aircraft was extensively restored by Sealand Aviation in 2009 and has subsequently been maintained in meticulous condition since restoration.
